How to create a memory dump for a service or client process? (4225944)

A memory dump might be required to troubleshoot memory issues in one of the Quest services or client MMC console applications.

To create a memory dump:

1. In Windows Task Manager, select the Processes tab and if using Server 2012 select the details tab.
2. Make sure the Show processes from all users option is selected
3. In the images list, locate the process in question
4. Right-click the process and select Create Dump File
