How to gather Active Roles Server Event logging (4227895)

For troubleshooting purposes, it is useful for Active Roles Server Administrators to inspect the event logs for this service. At times, it might be requested to get this information from users in order to better understand a problem and resolve an issue.

For Active Roles 6.x:

1. Open Event Viewer.
2. Navigate to Applications and Services.
3. Right click on EDM Server and select Save LogFile As....
4. Save to the appropriate file format, such as .Evt or .Evtx.

For Active Roles 7.x:

1. Open Event Viewer.
2. Navigate to Applications and Services.
3. Right click on Active Roles Admin Service and select Save LogFile As...
4. Save to the appropriate file format, such as .Evt or .Evtx.
