What is pm.settings?

The pm.settings file is a configuration file for both Privilege Manager for Unix and Privilege Manager for Sudo that contains various parameters and settings. It is present on every PM component and contains the configuration that must be consistent on all components. The pm.settings file is located in /etc/opt/quest/qpm4u directory by default.
pm.settings defines:
- policy mode (pmpolicy or sudo)
- location of Masters
- encryption settings
- communications ports
- log file locations
