Error when updating service account for Asset Discovery Rule, "Specify either an Account by ID or credentials, not both. (60409)

Attempting to modify the service account configured for an Asset Discovery Job. When attempting to make this change through the Desktop Client UI, the following error is received, "Specify either an Account by ID or credentials, not both. (60409)

STATUS

This has been confirmed as a defect in the Desktop Client UI, and has been submitted to product management for review. No ETA on a fix is currently available.


WORKAROUND

It is possible to update the service account through Swagger, but performing a PUT to the /v3/AssetPartitions/{id}/DiscoveryJobs/{jobId}  endpoint. You will first need to GET the relevant Partition ID and Job ID, and will also need to have the Account ID and DN for the service account you want to set. Once it has been updated through Swagger, the new service account should be reflected in the UI.
