Description
When installing the Authentication Services ActiveRoles Integration Pack 2.0.442 and lower software on versions of Authentication Servers higher the 4.1.1 the following error is seen:
Error : "The following software must be installed and running on this computer - Authentication Services 4.0.2" -
Cause
The QAS ARS integration pack code is looking for "Quest Authentication Services" in the registry however this has been changed in QAS 4.1.2 to be "One Identity Authentication Services". This is causing the failure. It doesn't think Authentication Services is installed. -
Resolution
Workaround:
Install 4.1.1 (the issue was introduced in 4.1.2).
Fixed in version 2.1.0.446 of the Authentication Services ActiveRoles Integration Pack.
