HOW TO Access Active Roles Virtual Attributes -
Description
You may need to work with Active Roles Virtual Attributes when performing synchronization steps in Quick Connect. Virtual attributes (edsa, edsva) are not available when using the Quick Connect Express for AD connector or the Generic LDAP connector. -
Resolution
This is expected behavior as it's necessary to speak directly to Active Roles in order to access virtual attribute information.
WORKAROUND
The 'Quest ActiveRoles Server Connector' is a built-in connector that can be used to connect directly to an Active Roles administration service, providing access to virtual attribute information.
