Cannot connect to MCU with the MCU Client (MCU CLI) software after providing the proper username and password -
Description
The MCU client is failing to connect. Errors such as:
Using timeout: 300 s
An error occurred during discovery (): error [Errno 1] _ssl.c:499: error:140770FC:SSL
routines:SSL23_GET_SERVER_HELLO:unknown protocol> -
Cause
TLS compatibility issue with the previous MCU client. -
Resolution
Remove the previous client version and install: mcu-cli-1.0.2-49.x86_64

The new version resolves a TLS compatibility issue with the previous MCU client.
If errors are still seen post install of mcu-cli-1.0.2-49.x86_64 such as: SSL_CERTIFICATE_VERIFICATION errors then use the -n option with the connect, for example:
./connect-qmcuservice -u user -n -s mcu.idm.hal.labThe -n option is to disable the certificate verification.TLSv1.2 protocol now enforces certificate verification. If a certificate is being used that cannot be verified, for example if it is a self signed certificate this will cause the SSL_CERTIFICATE_VERIFICATION errors. -
