On AIX can TPAM clear the failed login count when resetting the password?

Cause
Currently TPAM does not reset the password count when changing the account password.

Resolution
WORKAROUND
Logon to the account which will reset the failed login count to zero. Root can also clear the account by running the below command.
chsec -f /etc/security/lastlog -a "unsuccessful_login_count=0" –s <username>
STATUS
Enhancement request BFER3981 has been submitted to Development for consideration in a future release of TPAM.
