Description

Error when resetting password on AS/400 "Value for new password not allowed at password level 0"
Cause

The password policy in TPAM was configured for complex/long passwords, while the AS400 was configured for a QPWDLVL / password level of “0” (short /non-complex passwords).
Resolution

WORKAROUND

Reconfigure the TPAM password policies to match the AS400 password level.
