Resolution
The Cisco ASA platform is not a native TPAM platform.
The Custom Platform may be reviewed to potentially manage the Cisco ASA appliances. Review and creation of the Custom Platform will require assistance from Professional Services as per the following KB article:

“Standard Platforms SupportedIn the event that a platform is not listed, it may now be configured using custom platforms. The TPAM Custom Platform guide includes instructions on setting up custom platforms. For assistance configuring custom platforms please contact Professional Services.”
BFER 9469 exists to review the possibility of adding Cisco ASA as a native Platform in TPAM. Enhancement Requests will be periodically reviewed by the Product Manager for possible inclusion in a future release of the product. -

Cisco Adaptive Security Appliances (CiscoASA) is a new term given to CiscoPix Appliances. CiscoPIX security appliances are no longer being sold and the new term for these appliances is Cisco Adaptive Security Appliances.
