With the introduction of sudo plugins in Sudo 1.8, all of the functionality that was being provided by Quest Software's sudo packages has now been added to the vas_sudo plugin. This plugin is provided as part of the QAS 4.0.3 and 4.1 release and is compatible with Sudo 1.8 and up.

Since the 'sudoers.so' library contains the pam support it needs to be plugged in using hte /etc/sudo.conf file. If this file does not exist please create it with the following lines.
# cat /etc/sudo.conf
Plugin sudoers_policy sudoers.so
Plugin sudoers_io /usr/local/libexec/sudoers.so
This assumes a default location for sudoers.so of /usr/local/libexec/
