Workflow notifications fails to send -
Description
A Workflow is configured in Active Roles with a Notification Activity. When executed, the notification fails to send as expected.
The following error may also be observed when previewing the notification text:
Server Error in '/' Application.An error occurred while parsing EntityName. -
Cause
The notification has been customized to contain an XML special character, listed below:
< (Less-than)> (Greater-than)& (Ampersand)' (apostrophe or single quote)" (apostrophe or single quote)
The message may have been modified directly to include one of these characters, or a Token may be inputting a value that contains one of the characters.
This issue has been identified as a product defect and assigned the Defect ID 266230.

Resolution
WORKAROUND
1) Remove any of the above noted characters from the customized notification text.
2) Modify any data being input into the notification via Token to not include any of the above noted characters.
STATUS
Waiting for fix in a future release of Active Roles.
