Synchronization Service and Quick Connect Capture Agent compatibility -
Description
When attempting to use the Synchronization Service with the Quick Connect capture agent installed on a DC, password syncs fail.
Ports 15173 inbound on the Synchronization Service host, and 7148 inbound on the Domain Controller are open and listening.
The following error is observed when attempting a PwdHash sync:
Cannot read password hash value for the following object: <ObjectDN> There was no endpoint listening at net.tcp://<DomainController>:7148/CaptureAgentService/PasswordHashManager that could accept the message. This is often caused by an incorrect address or SOAP action. See InnerException, if present, for more details.

Cause
The Active Roles Synchronization Service is only compatible with the Sync Service Capture Agent. Quick Connect components are not supported and do not work when paired with the Synchronization Service. -
Resolution
Uninstall any Quick Connect components and replace them with the correct Synchronization Service components.
