Communication error. [Login failed because user SID could not be resolved with AD.] -
Description
The following error is reported when logging on to the Management Console for Unix (MCU)
“Communication error. [Login failed because user SID could not be resolved with AD.]”

Cause
Some attributes used by Starling are not defined in the schema.

Resolution
Even if Starling 2FA is not configured for use the following attributes will still need to be defined.
1. Open the Authentication Services Control Center
2. Choose Preferences
3. Scroll down to Starling Two-Factor Authentication
4. Under “Starling Attribute” add ‘mobile’ in as the User Mobile Number attribute and ‘mail’ as the as the User Email Address.
5. Restart the MCU and see if the login error has cleared.
