The steps required to join OSX 10.11 to Active Directory with Authentication Services 4.1 have changed.
Description

The open directory utility plugin is no longer available in OSX 10.11 El Capitan. What steps are available for joining to Active Directory?
Cause

Prior to OSX 10.11 Authentication Services used Directory Services to conduct joins as an option. This is no longer available.
Resolution

Resolution 1:
Joins using the command '/opt/quest/bin/vastool join' still work normally.
Resolution 2:
Joins performed through Management Console for Unix are still unaffected as well.
Resolution 3:
A graphical utility is now available in /Applications. See below for screenshots.
