Unable to configure secondary server - "ERROR: Unsupported policy mode: unknown"
Description
Following error message occurs when trying to configure a secondary policy server: ERROR: Unsupported policy mode: unknown
Cause
This would likely happen if you are using non-standard ports in your configuration. If no pm.settings file exists, pmsrvconfig -s would try to communicate using default masterport settings (masterport 12345).
Resolution
WORKAROUND 1:
Copy the pm.settings from the primary to the secondary server prior to running pmsrvconfig -s.
WORKAROUND 2:
Create a pm.settings file with just the masterport entry.
