This knowledge base article contains a script that can be run to check if Syslog-ng Store Box (SSB) is upgradable to version 6.
Older versions of SSB contains deprecated components.
The checking of these components are done only before upgrading to SSB 6 from SSB 5.
- Upload the attached script to the boot firmware of the SSB.
- Log in to the boot shell
- Execute the script
./ssb6_upgrade_precheck.sh
- Check the result. See examples below.
Upgradable SSB

Unsupported drivers in use
install a syslog-ng PE 6 relay machine to process the logs of the unsupported drivers.
