You may have noticed that when Password Manager's workflow is configured with the action 'Reset password in Active Directory and connected systems’ and Quick Connect has a password Synch Rule configured, duplicate password reset entries are recorded in the connected system (i.e. DB).
This is by design. As per the described configuration, the QC service will receive and push the change twice. The first change/event received by the PM's workflow ('Reset password in Active Directory and connected systems’) and the second from its own Capture Agent.
WORKAROUND
If you would prefer to have a single entry recorded in the connected system, please make sure to either utilise Quick Connect Password Synch Rule or the Password Manager’s workflow action 'Reset password in Active Directory and connected systems’.
