Join to policy group fails after upgrading plugin client on AIX server to version 7.0
The following error message is seen during the join attempt:

- ERROR: /etc/sudo.conf configured successfully but sudo plugin non-operational
- ERROR: - Joined to a policy group : NO

The following error is reported when running ‘sudo -V’ command on the AIX server after the join attempt:

sudo: error in /etc/sudo.conf, line 128 while loading plugin "privilege_manager_policy_plugin"
sudo: unable to load /opt/quest/libexec/qpm4u_plugin.so: 0509-022 Cannot load module
/opt/quest/libexec/qpm4u_plugin.so.
0509-026 System error: Cannot run a file that does not have a valid format.
sudo: fatal error, unable to load plugins

STATUS:
Waiting for a fix in a future release of Safeguard for Sudo.
WORKAROUND 1:
Downgrade to version 6.1 on AIX systems until the defect fix is available.
WORKAROUND 2:
Remove the Safeguard for Sudo product from the AIX system.
Then perform a fresh install of Safeguard for Sudo 7.0.
