High CPU usage after upgrading Policy servers to version 7.0 -
Description
The pmmasterd process is using a high amount of CPU after upgrading the policy server to version 7.0 while the clients are still on version 6.1
The following type of message can be seen in the pmmasterd.log file on the policy server:

Cause
Product Defect:
260968 - High CPU and errors on policy server for pmmasterd processes -
Resolution
RESOLUTION:
Please see KB 330989 for the Safeguard for Sudo patch.
Please see KB 330991 for the Privilege Manager for Unix patch.
WORKAROUND:
Upgrade all of the clients to version 7.0.
However please note that the 7.0 version of the plugin client will need to be upgraded to 7.1 when the policy servers are upgraded as well. -
