Cannot log in to a Unix system after installing the Defender PAM module. In the /var/log/secure file the following message appears:
"sshd[4645]: PAM adding faulty module: /lib64/security/pam_defender.so
sshd[4688]: PAM unable to dlopen(/lib64/security/pam_defender.so)
sshd[4688]: PAM [error: /lib64/security/pam_defender.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory]"
Installed the wrong Defender PAM module for 64 bit system. Installed the package under QAS*/client/linux-x86 instead of QAS*/client/linux-x86_64.
1 - Uninstall the incorrect package:
rpm -e pamdefender*
2 - Install the correct package:
rpm -ivh pamdefender*.rpm
