For example, the problem could be caused by accent characters which affects the way that Identity Manager handles two employees: the first employee’s name is David; the second name is Dávid. The only differences the second character, a - á. By default, Identity Manager cannot differentiate these two names.
The only difference is the second character, a - á.

STATUS
The One Identity Manager Product Team has acknowledged this as a product enhancement tracked by CR ID 33590. The inclusion of this patch is scheduled for a later release of Identity Manager. If you need this hotfix please contact Support referencing Enhancement ID 33590.
With this enhancement it is possible to create AD accounts for names which differ only in diacritics, but because of the potential for data inconsistency, a new AD user will be created with a number appended to the name, i.e. in the above example "User Dávid" becomes "User Dávid_2".
