Error: CryptographicException: The system cannot find the file specified (4286954)

Password manager stops for a about 10 minutes and works again after a while. This is a repetitive issue. Users get the following message when the issue occurs:

When the IIS App Pool runs under the security context of an Active Directory user account, that account needs to have their user profile loaded on the IIS host in order to access the cryptographic keys on that host.

This flag is not necessary when the IIS App Pool is running in the default configuration of a local computer account, like the default ApplicationPoolIdentity.

Enhancement Request ID 249567 has been created to add this necessary configuration step into the Password Manager Quick Start Guide when using this alternate configuration.

Product Management will evaluate the request and this feature may become available in a future release of the product. 1. Open the IIS Manager.
2. Select the Application Pools section.
3. Select the PMAdmin application pool and click on Advanced Settings.
4. Change the Load User profile setting to TRUE:

5. Follow steps 3 and 4 for PMHelpdesk and PMUser application pools.
6. Restart IIS by running iisreset in an elevated command prompt.
