Query: Extension of active password releases
Description

Is it possible to extend the password or session release for an account, when it is about to expire?
Cause

Requestor makes PPM request for 2 hours, it gets to the end of that 2 hours, user would like to be able to add x hours to the request.
Consider the same behaviour for PPM and PSM requests.
Admins may be busy performing tasks (running scripts) and there is concern that the end of the period would reset the account and cause issue. Would like the ability to extend the period the account is checked out for.
Resolution

There is currently no method to extend the release period. The user would need to check in the account at the end of the specified release time, and then take a new session.
An enhancement has been raised under BFER 7472 for consideration in the future.
