Title
User Group is not being fully populated with all users from the Directory. -
Description
When creating a User Groups, it is found that not all users have been imported into the User Group. The User Group has "Require Secondary Authentication" selected with Starling 2FA as the Authentication Provider. -
Cause
If a user is set to use Starling 2FA, and the user's properties are not valid for Starling (email address and mobile number populated in the correct format) the user will not be imported into the user group. -
Resolution
From the Safeguard Administration Guide:
"Import consideration
All users part of a directory import user group must have complete and valid attributes. Ifthe attributes for a user are not complete and valid, the user is not imported and theimport continues. For example, if you set the directory user group authenticationproperties to require secondary authentication and use the Starling 2FA provider, eachuser's email address and mobile phone number attributes must have values to be includedduring the import."Ensure the user has the mobile number populated in the correct format as well as an email address configured.
