Description
A Batch Update run to update Collection Descriptions does appear to process but does not actually make the expected changes to the Collection Description. -
Resolution
WORKAROUND
It is not possible to use the Batch Process to correctly update the Description fields in earlier versions of TPAM (prior to 915). Upgrade to a more recent release which includes the fix for Batch Update of Collection Descriptions. Alternatively, it is possible to edit the Collection Description field directly from the Collection's "Details" tab.STATUS
This was addressed in version 2.5.915 and above.From the TPAM 2.5.915 Release Notes:
"Fixed batch update of Collection Description field. BFER 7512"
