vastool status reports CRITICAL: 210 The /var/opt/quest/vas/vasd/vas_ident.vdb file is not a valid database file. -
Cause
database is corrupt -
Resolution
1 - Unjoin the client from Active Directory but leave the computer object
/opt/quest/bin/vastool -u <adadmin> unjoin -l
Replace <adadmin> with an account with Ad permissions
2 - Rejoin the system to Active Directory
An example of the command: /opt/quest/bin/vastool -u <adadmin> join -f <yourdomain.com>
