What data is contained in the backup file copied from Primary to Replica?
The majority of the information that is replicated from the Primary to the Replica is database information. Certain information is specific to the appliance such as OS level data, backups, logs (such as Alerts log) and installed patches (depending on the nature and purpose).
Appliance specific data is not copied from one device to another.
PSM session logs are replicated if they are being stored on the appliance rather than being archived. Quest strongly recommends sending these session logs to an archive server to reduce the size of backups.
