Description
Running ./install.sh -q upgrade
Receiving the following message:
Operating System: SunOS 10 (sparc) Checking for recommended patches... Solaris 10 8/07 (Update 4) is required. It looks like you have Solaris 10 11/06. NOTE: Patch recommendations not met.
Running the preflight.sh script which is at the root of the download for example: product-download-extracted/preflight.sh results in the below message:Check for Supported operating system and correct OS patches FailureSolaris 10 8/07 (Update 4) is required. It looks like you have Solaris 10 11/06. NOTE: Patch recommendations not met.QAS may not run correctly in all situations. Please apply patches so that we can ensure QAS functionality on your system. -
Cause
Solaris patch prerequisite is not been met -
Resolution
1 - Upgrade the Solaris patch on the system
