Error: Registry information is corrupt or missing. Make sure the provider is installed and registered correctly -
Description
After installing Active Roles, both databases (Configuration & Management History) are created without any issue, however, Active Roles Administration Service fails to start up.Active Roles Administration Service event viewer returns the following error:
"Critical error occurred upon starting Active Roles Administration Service.Details: Database 'ActiveRoles750' on SQL Server 'MSSQLSERVER' is unavailable.Registry information is corrupt or missing. Make sure the provider is installed and registered correctly."Ds.log shows the following exception:
"Registry information is corrupt or missing. Make sure the provider is installed and registered correctly.

Cause
Microsoft OLE DB Driver for SQL Server has not been correctly installed in the Active Roles server and sub-keys under the "Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MSSQLServer\Client\SNI18.0" are missing. -
Resolution
Solution 1
Reinstall Microsoft OLE DB Driver for SQL Server. The following Microsoft link can assist with installing this components.

Create the sub-keys missing.
