I have created a support bundle and I want to reinstall my application from the backup so I retain my configuration and all my historical data.
This process is used if you want to reinstall the application to move the databases to a different disk configuration or move to a completely new server. This will also compact the databases and shrink the disk footprint.
A support bundle can only restore to the same version of the application that the support bundle was created from.
1) Install the vFoglight Storage application. Please see the vFoglight Storage install guide for a detailed explanation of these options.
-Double click on the install application
-Click OK to acknowledge the Anti Virus restrictions for installation
-Click Next to continue
-Click yes to accept the ULA
-Enter the Customer information
-Select the install directory location
-Select the complete application
-Select the Database locations (they do not have to be the same as the initial installation)
-Select the Backup folder
-Choose if you want the collector to run as a non local system account.
-Select next to start the install.
2) Restore the data from the Backups.

-Click next
The vFoglight Storage Maintenance Utility will pop up.
Under the restore Tab, Change the directory to the location of the support bundle (it must be unzipped).
Select the databases to restore (To restore the configuration information restore hdccs.backup, to restore historical Data restore prismdb.backup)
Click next and reselect the databases to restore.
Once the vFoglight Storage Maintenance Utility disappears, click finish
