Description
The Synchronization Services database may grow to a large size and cause the SQL server to run out of hard drive space and cause the Synchronization Service to stop. -
Cause
The *.ldf file contains the Sync history of the Sync Service. Workflows in this scenario may be running many transactions (lots of objects and lots of attributes to update), which causes the database to grow excessively. -
Resolution
WORKAROUND
Use the the Sync History Cleanup feature to keep the database under a manageable size. You may also choose the Schedule option to clean it up routinely, choosing a schedule that best suites your particular configuration:
