Option 1:
Active Roles Configuration Center, under the Administration Service page. Select Start, Stop or Restart as required.
Option 2:
Windows Services. The name of the service is Active Roles Administration Service.
Option 3:
In an elevated Command Prompt or PowerShell, run:
net stop "Active Roles Administration Service"
net start "Active Roles Administration Service"
