Logging into PSM Session using local authentication and RDP Autologin
When you have a system created in TPAM that is joined to a domain and you request a session, it will attempt to use domain credentials, by default.
You can set RDP autologin to use local credentials as well, by changing a couple of settings:
- Go to the System Managment page for the Windows system.
- Select the "Details" tab:
At the bottom in the "Computer Name" field, put in the hostname of the computer (just the computer name, NO domain info, slashes etc)
- Select the "Connection" tab
Make sure that "Use Domain Account?" is UNCHECKED.
Enter the functional account information (such as local Administrator account)
Changing these settings should get it to login locally by default, instead of using the domain credentials.
