Synchronization error with Mainframe RACF "< attribute > has been discarded due to an invalid combination" when trying to modify object
Description
The error occurs when an ad hoc projection is triggered when properties that are valid for a particular object class are updated, and the object classes currently assigned to the user do not include the one compatible with the modified properties.
Error as follows:
"The update for attribute <attribute> has been discarded due to an invalid combination of attribute and object class"
This caused the update to Target system to fail.
Cause
This is caused by a connector check on each attribute being modified to see if it is valid for the given object class.
