Collector logging shows the error "The given value of type String from the data source cannot be converted to type nvarchar of the specified target column." -
Description
The Active Roles Collector does not complete successfully, and Collector logs show the following error message:
[Error] [SqlHelper:SpecifiedObjectTable_InsertRecords]: The given value of type String from the data source cannot be converted to type nvarchar of the specified target column.

Cause
A value for an attribute in Active Directory exceeds the hard-coded size limitations in the Collector database.
This issue has been identified as a Defect and is being tracked by Defect ID 778467.

Resolution
WORKAROUND
Backup the Collector database using SQL Server Management Studio.
Run the following tSQL commands on the Collector database (Change [ActiveRoles_CollectorDB] to match the actual Active Roles Collector database):
