Some reports do not display in a timely fashion when using default options -
Description
In large environments, some reports will not display results in a timely fashion, but will eventually display if left to run long enough. When they finally display, they may be thousands or tens of thousands of pages long.
These reports include, but are not limited to:
Administrative Roles > Control Delegation by Trustee [with container hierarchy]Administrative Roles > Access Templates linked to Organizational UnitsAdministrative Roles > Access Templates linked to Managed Units -
Cause
The default option on these reports includes inherited permission delegation, which, in large environments, can include tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands of objects. -
Resolution
Change the Select desired types of inheritance or the Inheritance type options to Direct
Enhancement request 778468 has been created to possibly change this default behaviour in a future release of Active Roles.
