The Active Roles Web Interface shows HTTP Error 503.
The Application Event Viewer logs shows the following error:
EventID 2276
The worker process failed to initialize correctly and therefore could not be started. The data is the error.
8007005
Cause

The account running the IIS App Pool is missing some required permissions.
Resolution

WORKAROUND 1
Consult this Microsoft resource or contact Microsoft for assistance with resolving IIS App Pool permissions.

WORKAROUND 2
Use a different service account to run the IIS App Pool.
