Memory leak in Active Roles Administration Service process when using "O365 script execution configuration" activity and the associated PowerShell cmdlets -
Description
When using the O365 script execution configuration activity and the associated PowerShell cmdlets in an Active Roles Script Module, memory utilized by the Active Roles Administration Service process steadily increases and never decreases. A restart of the Active Roles Administration Service becomes required after a period of time. -
Cause
This issue has been identified as a Product Defect and is being tracked under Defect ID 267715. -
Resolution
WORKAROUND
Upgrade to Active Roles 7.4.3 and enable Modern Authentication with Azure as per the Active Roles 7.4.3 Administration Guide.
STATUS
This issue has been resolved in the latest cumulative hotfix for Active Roles 7.4.1 and Active Roles 7.4.3
Active Roles 7.4.4 is not affected by this issue.
