How to use the Information icons for troubleshooting purposes. -
Resolution
In the frontend tools, such as Manager and Designer, as well as in ITShop, there are "Information" icons that display helpful information.
ITShop:
In ITShop the "Information" icon appears frequently:
If you hold your mouse over the icon it will display "Information":
If you click the Info icon in ITShop, an dialog will open displaying information relevant to the item, for example, "Status messages" in the "My Actions" page.
Frontends:
In frontend tools such as Manager, the "Info" icon will appear as well, but its usage is a little different. For example, the "Info" icon will appear on the Master Data for objects such as an Employees:
If you click and release the mouse pointer on the icon, the pointer will change:
You can then drag the pointer to any field in the form, click on the field, and an information bubble will appear describing the field and its usage:
In both scenarios, valuable information can be gathered!
