What are the steps required to configure the job service?
A job server needs to exist in Designer, i.e. in the database. And there must be a queue defined where the service itself is running.

What is a Queue and what is the correct way to configure a Job Queue?
Queue: Each One Identity Manager Service within the network must have a unique queue identifier. The process steps are requested by the Job queue using exactly this queue name. Enter this queue name in the One Identity Manager Service configuration file. Create a corresponding Job server entry for every queue (in the database).
The default is that \%COMPUTERNAME% is used in the job service configuration, e.g.:
If adding additional queues to the same job server, ensure the job server(s) exists in the database as per the documentation above.
For example, the queue for the job server, SQL2025 is added to the job service configuration by adding a new jobservicedestination:
