Active Roles not enforcing the AD schema character limit on the Name (cn) attribute when renaming a user. -
Description
When renaming a user in either the Active Roles Console or Web Interface, Active Roles allows the setting of names over the character limit as specified in the Active Directory schema (Default of 64 characters). -
Cause
This issue has been identified as a product defect.

WORKAROUND
Please see the attached document for guidance on how to utilize a Policy to enforce the 64 character limit.
STATUS
Waiting for fix in a future release of Active Roles.
