Control Center is showing as schemaless after upgrading from version 4.x to 5.1
Open Control Center and navigate to Schema Attributes section
Preferences = > Schema Attributes
Check if this shows Schemaless in the Schema Template field.
Check if the following attributes have entries:
User Mobile Number:
User Email Address:
WORKAROUND:
- Uninstall Control Center version 5.1
- Install Control Center version 5.0.8.
- Add the following missing attributes:
User Mobile Number: mobile
User Email Address: mail
- Add the correct values for the other Unix attributes if they are still missing.
Use the following command on one of the joined Unix/Linux clients to check what values are set in Active Directory:
/opt/quest/bin/vastool -u host/ schema detect
- Save the changes and restart Control Center to ensure that the new settings are still showing.
- Upgrade Control Center to version 5.1 and check the settings again.
- Check that the licenses are still shown in Control Center, otherwise re-add them.
