Currently in Active Roles v8.x, when using "Add member to group" in a Change Workflow "Execution Operation" activity:
If the temporary member is set to be added and removed, the approver receives just one approval task or email, but the details included inform the approver of the addition details, but it does not inform about the removal datetime. However once approved, the approval sets both Add/Remove times automatically.
Status:
The Active Roles product team has raised Enhancement request #494364 to add both Start and End date details in the approval task and email when a temporal Start/End Group membership request is set.
Workaround1:
Use "Add/Remove member to group" in the Change Workflow Execution Operation activity.
Workaround2:
Customize the template to include Start and End datetimes.
