Impact of Microsoft MFA Enforcement on IDM Basic Authentication -
Description
Identity Manager connects to Azure AD using Basic Authentication, which is the method in use. Is it required to change the authentication method in order to comply with this update from Microsoft?

Answer
Starting October 1, 2025, this MFA enforcement will gradually occur for Phase 2 applications.
The recommendation is to use Application Authentication instead.
