Retain Password History for Asset Accounts Deleted via Directory Sync (4380838)

Is password history preserved for deleted assets and accounts? Can these assets and accounts be restored with intact password history?

STATUS

Enhancement request # 542931 was created for consideration in a future version of SPP subject to successful QA testing and Product Management approval.

WORKAROUND:

An Administrator user can:
- Restore or Undelete objects that have been accidentally deleted
- Set a policy with a time threshold to permanently delete objects that are in the "recycle bin" so they can be purged from the system permanently

This can be done via the Core Swagger API (https://SPP_Primary_Address/service/core/swagger) using these endpoints:
- Deleted/Assets
- Deleted/AssetAccounts
- Deleted/Users
- Deleted/PurgeSettings
