Description
A sync project can end up in a "Frozen" status each time it is run, and the following error is found in the logs:
[2070000] Application server returned an error. [ServiceStack.WebServiceException]Could not deserialize 'application/json; charset=utf-8' request using QBM.AppServer.Interface.UnitOfWorkEndRequest'
Error: Request body too large. The max request body size is 30000000 bytes.

Cause
When the sync project has "Shadow Copy" enabled, the contents of the shadow copy can sometimes grow too large for the application server.
This is a known but low priority issue - a permanent fix is scheduled for release as part of Identity Manager 10.1
In the interim, there is an effective work-around to address the issue

Resolution
Workaround for older versions:
1. Open the sync project in ObjectBrowser (table DPRShell).
2. Clear the ShadowCopy and save the DPRShell.
3. Open the project in SyncEditor and disable the option "Enable shadow copy".
