The Synchronization Service Capture Agent enables password synchronization between managed Active Directory domains and other connected data systems. To ensure compatibility, verify that the Capture Agent version on every domain controller matches the Synchronization Service server version.

Resolution
Manual Capture Agent Installation Steps:- Access media: Open the Active Roles installation media directly on the domain controller.
- Locate installer: Navigate to the
\Tools\Sync Service Capture Agentfolder. - Launch setup: Run the
SyncServiceCaptureAgent_8.x.msifile. - Complete wizard: Follow the on-screen setup prompts to finish installation.
- Reboot: Restart the domain controller to apply the changes.
