Cause
Ubuntu 26.04 is not yet included in the list of supported platforms for the current syslog-ng PE release. The latest supported Ubuntu version is 24 LTS.

Resolution
There is no official support available yet for Ubuntu 26.04.
There is currently no confirmed timeline for when support will be added. A feature request has been logged to track this requirement:Enhancement ID: 710675
