RESOLUTION 2:
By default the password-cache-age is set to 0. However it was been overwritten in a group policy
QAS allows disconnected mode authentication with locally cached password hashes. These hashes are cached anytime a user logs in and they are good indefinitely unless the password-cache-age option is set to a non-zero value. When the password-cache-age
option is set, vasd will check all hashes in the authentication cache every 24 hours. If any of these hashes have a time stamp older than the password-cache-age, they are removed from the authentication cache and disconnected authentication (/tmp/.vas_disauthcc_UID) will fail for that user.
See the /etc/opt/quest/vas/vas.conf man page documentation for the password-cache-age [vas_auth] section for information on modifying the maximum password age.
NOTE: Prior to 4.0.3.50 this option defaulted to 30. The default since this version has been 0, or disabled
